As some of you may know I managed to buy myself a Power PC based MacPro a few months ago for $162 (NZ) , it came with a fresh install of Leopard by no OS disc.

I'm a bit of a worrier and I know that one day for some reason or other I will need to be able to reinstall the OS and as this is a Power PC based machine the last version of OS X that will work on it is Leopard (10.5) as from Snow Leopard (10.6) OS X has been Intel only.

I have looked on both EBay and Trademe to try to find a good copy of Leopard but in most cases people are selling (overpriced) family packs or in some cases discs that are scratched and they won't guarantee that it will install. Does anyone in the forums have a copy of Leopard that they no longer require that they would be willing to sell to me for a reasonable price.

I'm not sure how we'd arrange payment since I'm in NZ but I'm sure that we could work something out.

Cheers

Jamie

No joy pegi, Jamie's machine requires an earlier version, that what you have.

No problems Ken, if you can't fit it in today it can wait - family and work have to come first
