I love the potential that iPhone and iPad has for organising my day. I'm a bit of a time management freak - well being self employed, one has to be.

I've used Things for some time, think it's brilliant, but then along comes Reminders. One of the strengths of reminders (and weaknesses of Things) is the ability to set a time, as well as date for a task or reminder. But apart from that, what thought does this forum have on comparing the two apps?

I used things but got tired of the lack of cloud sync and glacier development. I've considered Reminders but lack of a unified Today folder or view all is a bit of a killer for me. I use 2Do.

I've been a Things user since it was in beta, and love it, but am considering changing to reminders once mountain lion is released as it will also have reminders and then I would have iCloud auto syncing all my devices, which is compelling for me.

Yes I bought that some time ago. But deleted it because I couldn't support the organisation behind the app. I guess if Things is improved more I may stick with them.

FYI 2Do syncs via iCloud with reminders. The only problem is it has more functionality (like nested lists) so these don't show up the same in the Reminders app.

The more I try the iCal alternatives, and I've tried most of them, the more I think the Apple apps are pretty hard to beat. This is in spite of the many shortcomings.
