Hi again to all,
I just plugged my Ipod to my MAc and opened ITunes to transfer my Audiobooks to the IPod.
All of a sudden out of the blue all the photos that were on my Ipod have diasppeared.
I have never formatted my Ipod to my MAc because I was going to lose all my music. So it is still formatted to Windows and always worked it that way. Just adding things to the Ipod.
My question is : is there anyway AT ALL I can get back my photos?
I am sure it is pretty bad....but any idea will be welcome.
Cheers and thanks

What type of iPod is it?
iPods aren't formatted to either Mac or Windows. Is the music on the iPod ripped from CD or did you buy it from the iTunes Store or a mixture of both?

How full is your iPod? Photos are one of the last things to get put on, so if you don't have room they are the first to go.
You might not know it to look at me, but I'm pretty radical.

Hi
I have got a 120GB Classic.
I am sorry to say that they are formatted to either Windows or MAc, because everytime I opened Itunes on my Mac Intel it shows: formatted:WINDOWS.I know for a fact that if I change that I will loose all my stuff on it.
Music is from my own CDs that I have accumulated for years. I have no problems with music. These are my own and got some copies of them.
Cheers

There are some free programs which can copy music from an iPod to a Mac. I used one called Senuti (iTunes backwards) a few years ago. That way you can get all your music into your current iTunes library.
Depending on which program you get you may also be able to search through the iPod's folders for your photos.

Thank you very much. I have read this on the latest Mac copy. SENUTI. But was not aware that you could retrieve things for that. Of course can use it also for my music.
Thank you for reminding me. It was only the other day that I read it.
Will follow through and see what happens.
Again that is real cool
Cheers.
