I have lots of questions about it and how best to approach it for my setup - is that the sort of thing you can book time with a Genius at the Sydney store to go through?
Top of the list which people here might be able to help with, I have 3 computers (2 for work, one personal) - do I have to download through the app store on each one - so 3 times? I have no issue paying for 3 copies, but seems insane to have to download 3 times. Would buy the thumb drive option - but a $40+ premium for the flash drive is just a rort.

Thanks - will certainly try that when the time comes.
How does this sit in terms of legally installing on the other computers - can I buy and download on the first, and then just install that on the other 2? Does that work?

Your work machines may be a different matter, I'm not sure. You'd have to get that checked, don't want you breaking the law

Way more nervous than any other OS updates I have done in the past, as I am not overly enamoured with some of the changes it is going to bring, but being forced into it really to keep some things operational post June 30.
Oh well, hopefully see you all on the other side!

Couple of small things broken I can live with (some video codecs, some graphics tools) - should all be fixed with updates etc, no biggie.
What is a problem? Moving things to iCloud seems to be stuffed - says it encountered an error and I can try again in half an hour. Great - the only reason I was going through all this pain in the first place, and its the one thing that seems to be borked. Will try again in half an hour I guess.
While I am at it - any Calendar users out there, how do I get the calendar on the iPad to start the week on a Monday like it does on my Mac? Driving me nuts since I moved the iPad to iOS5, every time I look at the my schedule on the iPad I panic thinking I am out by a day. Don't tell me to change the one on my Mac to start on Sunday so it matches the iPad - I want it to start on a Monday on both!

You might need a third party calendar app to change to a Monday start of the week.

Just spent 25 minutes in an online chat session with mobile me support, to finish up with 'No idea, will have to refer this to one of our experts, they don't start until 8 tomorrow. Have I answered all your questions today?'
Umm, no.
So, still no iCloud thingy.

I have a job coming up next week where I will have to edit in the field - so that will be a good stress test, will iron out any kinks over the weekend.
Thanks everyone for your input, much appreciated.
