Just been listening to an amazing album, Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan, which is a set of 73 Dylan tracks reinterpreted by a bunch of amazing artists for Amnesty International's 50th anniversary.
Among my favourite tracks are:
Blowin' in the Wind (Ziggy Marley)
Lay, Lady, Lay (Angelique Kidjo)
Subterranean Homesick Blues (Michael Franti)
All Along the Watchtower (Live) (Dave Matthews Band)
For some reason it's not available from the Aussie iTunes Store, but you can buy it from Amazon and as an MP3 download from Amnesty's US store. You can also preview the tracks at the Amnesty store. Have a listen ... it's seriously great!
Cheers
Dave
