Hello
I am looking to employ a consultant short-term to help us with using Apple Mac technology in our visitor centre at the bat hospital near Cairns. Happy to fly the right person up for a few days and then deal remotely. We have a 24 inch iMac, Macbook pro and 30 inch cinema display.

There should be people available in Cairns, as there are a couple of Apple resellers there. I'd also suggest you investigate the Cairns campus of JCU.

Hi. A little more detail, please, in order that you attract the right expertise.

Are you looking to get a handle on basics, such as how do I turn this thing on, or do you have specialised requirements, such as running Unix-based medical/scientific applications under X11?

I'd be happy to come up if it fits my schedule.

Yes I contacted both the Apple sellers in Cairns and they had no one they could recommend. I have a job description I can send anyone who is interested. The position is for an environmental educator specialising in Apple Mac technology. We want to develop interactive displays, have help using Dreamweaver and iMovie.

Well, folks, it looks like we have a resolution to this.

Can't say anymore. It would be up to Jenny to spill the news.

Jenny?

You'll be happy to know that it's still warm here in the north.
