Just thought I'd share a photo of my new Hoverbar for iPad. It just arrived today.

First thoughts. Awesome. I also got the Hoverbar Clip for iPad 1, seeing as I've still got an iPad 1. It's very easy to setup and I'm already thinking of heaps of other things to attach it to. Like the bed head. :P

Anyone else got one?

They're great, huh, Htial? I like all of Twelve South's stuff.

Cheers

I fell asleep with it on the bed head and bumped my head on it when I woke up during the night... >_<

How does it attach. Can you use it on more than a Mac?

It has a very chunky vice like clip on it that needs the included alan key to tighten it. Even though this clip has some very soft rubber pads on it, I may have gone too tight when attaching it to my bed head because I left a mark in the wood. >_< It has a gap of about two centimetres, maybe a little more. The Twelve South web site has a number of photos with other uses. Like hanging from a shelf in the kitchen to keep the iPad at eye level, but away from any food prep areas.

The arm is very solid when holding the iPad. You can easily depress the home button with only the slightest spring. But that could also be because I've got a very old desk that also likes to move around a bit and the iMac I have on it also shakes a little when people walk past.

Just a quick update.

I've come to the realisation that this product has either ruined me or fully prepared me for a touch screen iMac. I find myself reaching out to the iMac and touching the dock icons and dragging four fingers across the screen to change fullscreen apps.
