Sounds painful.

Don't worry, we'll anaesthetise you first. isn't that Aaron Bellete's job?

Thanks for the feedback. There's a couple of reasons why the "how are you" bit is there at the start, partly because I generally kick off the discussion with a short rant, and it just doesn't feel right with me saying "I'm here with Barrie Smith and Fleur Doidge" and then you don't hear from them again for several minutes.

But if it doesn't feel right to you guys having everyone report on their general well-being at the start of the podcast, maybe we should think of a different way.

Hi howdydoodling folks, welcome here, macworld ranch, its made for folks just like you all, there, today were welcoming some southern border folks to shoot and spit the breeze on anything wholesome......I,m MJCP your host for this hick high kicking wholesome entertainment and adventure........

this do?

Just want to go on record that Firefly was just brilliant, watch it again and again at least once a month, my expectations of a Star Trek (original) revival is......its just not going to happen sorry, it was fresh and clever, but personally I didn't like the movie, cleaning up Serenity just didn't work for me, and killing off Wash was criminal.........Deadwood is very harsh but get hooked like I did and it is excellent drama...and i'm not a big fan of westerns?...SiFi yes, cowboys no, so what was Firefly, both! with Chinese and Japanese thrown in for good measure..god don't you love a good woman who can fix an Firefly Class engine.

Now that I use a shuffle for my podcasts, all I would like to request is that you announce the number or date of the podcast in the first sentence or so. That way I know which one I'm up to without having to scroll too far!

Sure you can have an iPhone. Just send us a video of your old phone (doesn't have to be your current phone, just any old phone) meeting its doom, and the most creative destructions (or destructive creations) will get iPhones. We have two to give away -- get entries in quick!
