Help
Hi all,
Have a problem with my above drive in that it won't power down even with the power cable out, suggesting it's frozen. Does not appear on the desktop when plugged in either. Having accessed the support pages of WD hasn't helped either. It is connected via FW to a 2010 IMac running 10.6.5. Any help appreciated.

I had one of those with a dead power button in it, try unplugging it from the wall, wait 30 or so seconds and then plug it in again, if it shows up on your desktop, back it up to your macs main drive , and reformat the drive and see if that helps.
