I've decided to download Game of Thrones in HD (US iTunes) rather than buying Bluray locally because I really don't want my kids to see it (not sure my wife would appreciate it either). iPad only but want the HD for occasional HDTV viewing. (I didn't realise how raunchy it is!) This is going to quickly raise storage issues. I'm wondering how others handle this? I've had my iTunes library on my 1Tb internal hard rive, but might need to move it to an external HDD or start manually managing my content (belch).
How do you cope with large iTunes libraries?

I run mine from an HPEX NAS. Currently have 2 1TB HDD's in and room for 2 more. Hooked up to the router and streams to all devices in the house.

X. This is a problem we are all facing but one solution. Watch it delete it. Then if you ever need it again iCloud will let you down load it again. Not ideal. But at least it takes care of the storage.

Does the Oz store let you do that yet (tried it with a movie but didn't seem to work)? I know the US store does so might be a solution as you say. And I guess that's why Apple has introduced it, especially with mobile devices.

If he has an US iTunes account and that's where he bought it from he should have that feature enabled.
