What's everyone else think?
And will it be a major OS upgrade? Are we going to see all kinds of bells and whistles?

I am with you TL, just waiting for the new MBP to come out, I also have a new iMac sitting on my desk. One / two Questions i do have is what's the process for getting the upgrade to Mac OS X 10.7, is the additional cost going to be cost prohibitive for what you get with the new os?

Snow Leopard only cost about $30 for an upgrade from the previous version, but that was a special case as it was mostly under the hood changes and the UI is very similar. From memory you're looking in the $150 range, which is generally better than Windows! It really will depend on what it offers, but it should be substantial this time.

I think a curated store that developers can submit apps to as an option for greater exposure and ease of installation would be a great addition to OS X.

OS X may get iOS type scroll bars and inertial scrolling.

Is the keynote being streamed again?
Anyway, I'll find out about it when I wake up at a reasonable hour

I love Apple announcements, but I'm not going to stay up to watch a live blog, I did that with the iPhone 4 announcement and it was just frustrating reading the blog on screen. If it was streamed live, I would be up for it...
I wonder why they don't stream it live?? They did it for the iPod keynote.....it's just not fair....
