Now this is a worry, if I drag an icon or file from my hard drive to the desktop, I get like a split second type of hearing bone pattern across the screen, the iMac is only 18 months old.

So I truly hope it's not the start of a video card, going west for the winter ? Anybody know when the new iMac I coming out, cause I am not forking out 1238.00 for a new video card, like I did for my 2008 iMac, it's cheaper to toss it in the bin, and buy a new one, these days like most electronics.

Anybody hazard to guess, what it could be, or how to correct it (apart from not dragging apps or files) to the desktop.
