Hey I just wanted to confirm with AMW staff, is the latest subscription offer (free coffee keep cup) only available with a 2 years subscription? I usually only get a 12 month subscription. Also is there any news on a deal for printed and digital subscription combo?

I don't think you will get much of a reply before tomorrow at the earliest, JZ... Due to the niche offices being closed over the Easter break.

Mick you can get different samples of mags online, via zinio. You should check out a couple of the free ones avaiable, to see whether you like them or not, that's how I tested it out.

Thanks Ken, but don't you get just a couple of pages, not the whole issue??

I can't recall which ones I tried first but some of them give you nearly a full magazine, knowing your luck it's probably on how to knit sox or something like that, but either way, you get a feel for how it feels over a printed version.

Mick, just download the AMW app (essentially Zinio, but just for AMW) and give it a whirl. Nothing to Lose.

Does it look good and work well on the iPad?

On the iPhone it's just too small, and quality of the images wasn't too great, especially when I zoomed in.

What's like zooming in on the ipad?

Also is Zinio the only way you can subscribe to digital magazines? Are there any other services?

Hi all,

JZ - The current subscription offer to receive a free keep cup, is for both 1 or 2 year subscriptions - be quick it ends on the 30th April!

In regards to the print and digital subscriptions combo, the price for this is $108 for 12 month, however we are doing our final testing with system fulfilment.

I will be appear to approve the above, however until we have this option live on the site you would need to email me directly so I can get our team internally to manually do this.

Thanks Liana

I am up for it, I will send you a email, my only problem is that I already have subscribed to the magazine, I am sure you can work out a way for it to work......

I've used Zinio for about 6 months on iPad, it's very good.

Love being able to carry around back issues to read etc.. when you have 5 minutes to spare.

The app does a pretty good job of displaying the pages, exactly as they are in the print issues.

Thanks for that input Peter.

Do you know what the file size is for each issue? 10Mb,20Mb...etc

Just curious to know.
