I'm still waiting for the prizes for the last 3 reader tips that were published in the magazine.

I'm starting to think that Niche simply don't care about their readership or the contributions make and that makes me sad.

Got the iPhone holder (unfortunately it doesn't work well in my car but thanks anyway), but no sign of the promised re-subscription to the magazine in Zinio and my current subscription ran out with last months issue:(

Hey Jamie, which holder was it?

I have the Belkin one that clips into the AC vent in the car, and it's a ripper - even works with my beloved's 6 plus! (Thanks Niche for the subscription offer!)

And to add a little love here for Niche, I actually subscribed at the time to get that offer, and was sent a gorilla pod! The nice people at Niche actually sent the Belkin holder AND told me to keep the Gorilla Pod :yahoo: - So it's not all bad!

Thanks!

P

It's the Belkin one and it holds the phone well but the vents on the Commodore don't hold it well as the combination of phone and holder is just too heavy so they tip forwards

That's a shame - have you tried swivelling the clip to use the smaller slot?

I've used it on a Hyundai, Suzuki and Audi so far, and have had nothing but success.

Cheers,

Won't help, its the vents themselves that move and the weight of the unit and phone is just too much for them.

Sad to see that I have had no response from Anthony or the subs guy regarding the lack of the promised Zinio subscription, perhaps my suspicions are true and the magazine isn't going to be around much longer so there is no point in the resubscription.

You only have to look here and at MacTalk to see that the 'old faithfuls' have moved on and the community support that was there has gone, at one point we all asked why and a number of us offered to help in any way we could to try and get things back to the way they were but this all seemed to fall on deaf ears.

'twas a good trip folks, but just remember can the last one out please turn off the lights.

(at least they won't need to worry about fixing the still very broken post editing system nor worry about the links on their page that don'r work - eg. click on the magazine image and get a 'page not found' error - perhaps that's another omen?)

So Jamie, if MacTalk is broken too - where are the nice guys hanging out now?
