Bummer I was actually hoping it was an 8 gig.... But Gazza this in turn leads to another question, I didn't think apple made 4 gig Nanos any more ? I cant find 1 single mention of any 4 gig nanos on apples web site?
TL

Didn't this issue arise a while back just after the new nano was released?? Another company was advertising and selling a 4GB version when Apple wasn't advertising/selling one of this configuration. If my memory serves me correctly it was a one off sale. Perhaps someone else can remember the situation and refer us back to the thread.

yeah, I do recall something along those lines gazza, it was either a specific store with the 4 gig or maybe a particular country?

Thanks for the confirmation gramsey, I was beginning to have doubts about my recollection of the episode. I now have a feeling it was in Oz and a retailer like BigW??

This is off topic but I need advice. should I get three imac G3's( ruby, indigo and graphite $150-$170) or a G4 cube ( no screen keyboard or mouse around $150. Both include postage costs a fortune. I want to know which would be better for my collection. I love the cube but there is no screen and they can be pricey, but I could always save.

O Yes get the cube that is a real collectors item, you barely see them advertised on Ebay, and it was a bit of a lemon, which only makes it more desirable to have. Much like the 20th anniversary imac, thats another must have.

Anyone in the market for a MacBook before Christmas?? Dick Smith Power House is advertising MacBooks at the usual price (compared with other resellers) BUT they are including AppleCare (usually $300+ for laptops) AND 2 X $50 iTunes Gift Cards. That means ~$400 bonuses!!

Here's another one folks if you want to hit the Boxing Day sales and are in the market for an external HDD.

Big W has on sale Western Digital "Elements" HDD 1TeraByte for $199. I've paid more than that for a 500GB disk in the last 12 months!!!!

It's in the junk mail catalogue in my parent's mail box today. I think it is USB but I would have to check WD's website for connection specs as the Big W ad doesn't have that detail. Even for USB it is a bargain!!!

It is indeed gazza, but all my USB ports are full, so I need an extender or a Firewire drive.

Wow i had to trash this old post up, i was walking around a large shopping complex today, and while the wife was off buying womans things, i decided to walk into a PAWN store ( YES thats PAWN) not the other spelling, and was was the first thing i saw, so clown had pawned his iPhone 4s, for 60 bucks to buy some dope :jawdrop:

Who is there right mind sells an a 3 month old iPhone for dope? and no i am not picking on people with addictions, the guy in the store asked him why he was selling it, and he said to Buy Weed.

So what apple goodies have you seen your local Pawn shop, PS pegi go and check out your local cash convertors and you may also score a cheap iPhone.

PS did i BUY it, I hear you asking NO !! I hope the guys gets his life back in order sooner rather than later and comes back and buys it... But who am i kidding ?
