I now have three useless iPhone chargers. They are all the same, Apple branded, great design that can pull apart for different applications, the issue i have is, all three of them have ceased to function!

So if i have three non functional chargers there must be others out there ?

Can i run a multimeter over the pins to see if there is an output ?

Each came new with iPod Touch, iPhone 3GS white, iPhone 4

Any ideas????

You are kidding me, i have never killed a power adaptor yet, are you leaving them in a damp area or near water? But if you have had 3 I would be calling apple, and having a grumble.

Sounds suspicious. Are you sure you're not killing chickens with the cords, because they are not meant for that...:)

The only thing that has happened to me is that the power cable went on my MacBook, and I had to replace it, but that was after 3 and a bit years.

No Brian the chooks are still safe, well i had a bit of an accident, with the double barrel shotgun...... let's just say the chooks are now a bit messy.... feathers everywhere.......i don't think they will lay eggs for a while :mosking:

I might give our friends at Apple a call as it'd definitely the "power adaptors" as Ken would say, not the chargie thingo......

Yeah that is surprising. The only one that ever died on me is one if the older larger charges with apple on the side.

Simple solution here, rang Apple and they said to take it back as it's still under warranty, i explained that i have another two chargers the same and we ended up in a long drawn out dialogue of who should pay. Apple are quiet happy to replace one unit but as much as i tried to have the others repaired / replaced, it

just wasn't going to happen today.

Still better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick.....

The secret is, you need to wait a week and call back again, do that 2 more times and you are set.

Nope it wasn't me crying. And it wasn't my phone.
