Anybody out there, tempted to try to guess which date mountain lion will drop, I know the gold master is now available for developers, which usually means its only a week or two away.

So which day, does everybody think we can hit the download button, I am taking a stab in the dark for July 19, not sure why I am picking next Thursday, it's just a gut feeling.

I've heard speculation of the week of the 25th - last week of July. Think I'll go with that and avoid disappointment. But I hope you're right!

I think it should come out on Monday so that I can buy it as a birthday present to myself

Hey don't you have a new MacBook retina that you can easily slip into your bag and take it with you?

Yeah but can you imagine the download fees in a hotel room ?

I will just have to stick with taking a couple of iPad 3s with me, and watching all the action, from the swimming pool :D

It's only ML.. It's not the new iPhone the way you're carrying on.

I wish new iMacs were released instead.

The only action your going to be seeing will be Greenpeace turning up trying to roll you back in the water, just remember all these iPads your taking with you won't like the water Ken.

What are you planning to download?

some "Movies" Ken?

Have a nice holiday, don't worry about the sharks, there not up our way at the moment :yahoo:

Good call Mick.

I'm heading to Fiji at the end of the month and have been instructed I'm not allowed to take my iPad. For that matter I won't have any Internet access for a whole week....and You know what.......I think it's a good thing. I can relax and switch off.

So should you Ken...it will do you wonders.

I'm not sure that's where your tax dollars end up...
