Its size is about 9.7MB if you download manually (but I don't know what it does apart from "supports system software components shared by all iLife '08 applications to improve their stability and performance" - to quote Apple).

What !! the manual software version is bigger...... Sheesh i can understand the stand alone version of the operating system being larger or small, as some our intel and some our for PPC, but for a stand alone app, weird
