and it's typical of everyone to be experts after the keynotes, why don't all the haters fly to cupertino and get jobs there and tell them all your fantastic ideas.

I continue to be surprised at the various photo editing software that is available in both the iPhone and the iPad. Tasks that once were confined to those with the intimacies of the dark room are now available to those who were once considered to be happy snappers .
The result being that in ever increasing numbers there are many taking up this option as social sites like Flickr, Instagram and Facebook .

I love photography too Gordon and the way you can simply turn what would've been a throw a picture into something special is fantastic. I was recently asked to take photos at my wife's brothers wedding. I'm no professional photographer (I have friends that are) but people seem to like my photos. I took one photo of my wife's pop which everyone like but was unfortunately washed out by sunlight. But with just a few quick fixes and effects I was able to turn this washed picture and a really nice picture, and I just used iPhoto too edit it. Amazing.

i come to theses forums to discuss the wonderful way apple helps me enjoy everyday things, it's so frustrating to see everyone bag apple, i challenge everyone to trade in their Macs for Dell running windows and useless plastic piece of crap Samsung phone running a crappy version of Android, go have fun.

i think my days here are over...

I am continually surprised by the quality of the images that were recorded with the iPhone.

Nothing earth shattering was announced, but I wasn't expecting it so I'm not disappointed. The OSes are annual releases now and I'm happy with solid incremental improvements to my investment. I'm not especially worried about the lack of a UI refresh in iOS because I don't use it to look at the OS, I use it for the apps.

I think the overarching feature is, as it has been for a while, the ecosystem.

iCloud is really starting to make sense (although I have always loved it. Just had to restore my iPad today after iTunes screwed up my settings - my fault - but too easy to restore from iCloud back up). With a Mac, iPhone (even an old one), iPad and ATV there's some neat integration now.

Let's be honest, a lot of the new features just bring the iPhone up to par with Android, and even older phones than that. Nokia's had turn by turn nav built in for years! Do not disturb isn't exactly innovative. But I loved my iPhone before, and I'll love it even more now! And Apple have to do this without killing ease of use. I think that's one of the reasons they don't dump a gazillion features in it all at once.

Although I doubt I'll ever be in the market for the Retina MacBook Pro, I think it is a significant piece of engineering and shows Apple's attention to detail. Give it a couple of years for the hardware to come down in price and the market to adjust to lack of optical drives and I see one line of MacBooks.

I'm happy and very surprised my 3GS will get the update although I will take a wait and see approach this year. If I can squeeze another year out of it that would be great.

Overall I'm happy!

I love Alex's posts too. You always make sense!

I've changed my tune and I think where Apple sit at the moment is fine.

At work I have to use a crappy Dell laptop running windows 7... Oh the pain of it....
