is anyone having problems downloading stuff from the the US iTunes store? i got an email telling me a new episode was ready for download so i clicked on it and it didn't work so i tried a free episode of another show and it didn't work i keep getting this error message:

Unable to check for available downloads.

The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again late.

I'm being silly. It's just because of Ping there was an update and now you're having trouble with the US iTunes store.

I'm just not a fan if Ping. I don't think they needed to put that in iTunes. Clever marketing though. I liked my Genius recommendations in the sidebar and now that's gone.

such a pain. i can't really email them because i obviously in Australia and worried they'll pick up on it. Hope they sought it out. I would have thought that some of the "Apple related" sites would have reported on this if it is a problem.

Are you still having that Bug, maybe the last update checks your ISP address against a list and it comes up as a Non USA account ?

but i'm able to download any of the free tv shows that r offered. just the season pass that i purchased isn't working

O well that really is weird then, have you searched apples knowledge base for any body else with the same problem.

i have googled to see if anything matches but haven't found anything. there are some other season passes i'd like to purchase but just a bit a bit put off at the moment. i have never had any problems before. can i down grade back to the previous iTunes?

Yes you can, you just need to locate it, download it and then delete the current version, and replace the prefs.

ok found one. how do i delete the older version?

Simply drag the app to the trash, and then go to your library ~ iTunes and drag the pref file to your desktop. Then install the other version and try again, if everything works as it should you can then trash the prefs file.

I couldn't seem to find the preference but installed iTunes 10.0 anyway. Still no luck. But I tried downloading a free episode from the series I purchased and it downloaded fine. This is so annoying.
