A while ago I made this post. I'd just picked up an TV and was trying to get iTunes DJ to work via TV.

I've now got that all sorted, and it works without a hitch. Current setup is the iMac running iTunes DJ sending the audio to its speakers, the TV, and an old AirPort Express hooked up to an old stereo. Using the iPad or iPhone and the Remote app I can have music going to one, two, or all three at once.

What I'd like to know, and what I've failed to work out for myself, is how can I add another iMac and a Mac mini to the output speakers list. It's got me stumped. And I must just not be using the right search terms to google it.

As a quick side note. Currently the TV is synced to the Mac mini and the iMac I'm using to control everything is listed under the shared library.

Thanks for your help. I've got a house warming soiree coming up soon.

Hmm I have never heard of anybody getting AirPlay to play via another Mac ? As far as I know each Mac has its on protocol , which keeps it individual , hence why your remote on your phone or iPad only sync with one Mac at a time.

But If somebody has a work around, I am as keen as you are laith on finding out, how you can do it.
Come on 20K

Hey Ken,

I guess it's one of those things that only crazy people like us with lots of machines tends to try. I can get both iMacs and the Mac mini to control the TV and AirPort Express, but only one of those as a controller at a time. So three masters and two slaves. Turning two of those masters into slaves is the tricky part that I'm yet to work out.
