Dammit, if this rumour is true, I need to save up and buy another iPhone, and from the rumour mill this baby sounds sexy, it will be slimmer, faster, Quad core, LTE speed, with a new material on the back (Yippee) and probably have a bunch of other must have add-ons.

I'll be inline with you TL. but won't it be called iPhone 6?

iPhone (1) then iPhone 3G (2) then iPhone 3Gs (3) iPhone 4 (4) iPhone 4s (5) then iPhone SJ (6)

I want it now!

I just hope they get rid of the stupid home button. Nokia have done it, and so should they.

My iPhone 4 home button is playing up big time, and I put it down to wear and tear. Sometimes I push it and nothing happens, I need to push it a few times to react.

Anyway.....I can't wait for the the iPhone 5.... I think I will line up in the city this time for it...I'm a sucker for punishment.

I can't wait............I want it now!!!!!

Now Ken...I thought you were a Samsung Galaxy fan...... :mosking:

Thanks alot Ken...arrrr

Yes Jamie... I know a few people with the same issue. Apparently it is a flaw in the design.

They just need to ditch it.

I am also having issues with my home button. I did some research a few months ago and yes many are having the same issue. I found this little technique on a forum (can't now remember which one) that fixes it ... for a while at least ...

1) put in the normal charging cord
2) give the flat plug that enters the iphone a gentle twist, pulling up one side and down on the other and then visa versa

Some have said that they can hear a little "pop" when you do this... I don't, but it does fix it for a month or so .... and then I do it again.

Bought my Iphone 4 in October last year and it started to be a problem just after 12 months (of course!) and I guess I have had to do this three or four times now!

I hope this helps?

Um Ken... You're the one that bought the Galaxy, not me.

I would never buy Samsung or any Android phone for that matter!

So how is the Galaxy Ken?? I remember you said you were going to compare an iPhone to a Galaxy. Let me guess which one you're using now.

Me either Brian. I. I buy apple products be because I like them. I couldn't care less what the competition is doing

And there is always gonna be period of time when either side seems out of date.

When the next iPhone and iPad are released the competitors will go back to the drawing boards. Then they will come out with something new and so on..

Sorry it didn't work Brian, I was disappointed when the problem reappeared on my iPhone and now wonder if one day the little twist might stop working for me too? The longevity of the button is certainly of concern. Apple can be quite slow to acknowledge design problems at times... (I know they have just replaced a lot of old iPods but it took quite some time for them to acknowledge the over heating transformers in the early TimeCapsules as an example...)
