nFinity has announced the release of QuickVoice Recorder software for the second-generation iPod touch. It’s available for purchase and download from the App Store for $1.19.

Joining an iPhone application already available, QuickVoice Recorder is a “touch and speak” recorder that helps you record voice notes, reminders, dictation, meetings, interviews, shopping lists, to do lists, and anything else.

Features include one-touch record, stop and save. You can pause recordings, set audio quality, configure a record timer and playback counter, name files automatically, finger-scroll through recordings, pause and resume playback, display file sizes and time stamps, and more.

System requirements call for an iPod touch and iPhone ear buds with an integrated microphone.
