3rd Power LLC is planning the iGames Summit 2009, a one-day event scheduled to happen Thursday, March 19, 2009 in San Francisco, Calif.

The iGames Summit — which happens the week before the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC), also in San Francisco — is planned to bring together developers, investors and executives interested in sharing their experiences and insight on the burgeoning iPhone game development market.

Talks and panels planned for the event cover understanding the iPhone’s technical aspects to distribution and monetisation. It’s planned as a half-day event that stretches from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and it will take place at the Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF, located at 1675 Owens Street in San Francisco.

Earlybird registration costs $US299 ($A450); academic passes are also available for $US85 ($A127).
