TradeEzi for iPhone provides access to a free online services marketplace for home repairs and maintenance jobs from anywhere in Australia.

Here’s how it works: Use the app to take a photo of the damage and write a description of what you need done. After tapping the ‘Send’ button, your job will be listed on TradeEzi’s network of service providers in your local area.

These local businesses will receive your job immediately to their iPhone. From there they will send back information to your device on what needs to be done to fix the problem, price estimates, or an inspection request to assess the damage. Users can also access the provider’s license, insurance information and feedback from other customers who have previously employed their services

With all this information, you can scout around for the business with the cheapest quote, best reputation and availability to complete the job. Tap the  ‘accept quote’ link and your job order is complete. Contact details between you and the nominated business are then exchanged to make further arrangements.

Top job: Using a photo and short description, TradeEzi will send your job brief to local service providers who will advise you on what repairs are needed and how much it’s likely to cost.

This is a nifty little iOS offering for home improvements that offers you immediate information on businesses in your local area without having to make obligatory calls to get a good quote from a reputable service provider.
