The Olympics may be over but London is continuing to party, with Apple’s iTunes Festival in full swing.
It’s an amazing event comprising 30 free nights of free live music in London this month featuring more than 60 artists including Usher, Deadmau5, Norah Jones, Pink, David Guetta and – wait for it – One Direction.
For those of us who can’t be in London, the iTunes Festival London 2012 app lets us watch the shows live, or view them afterwards for a limited time, on our iPhones, iPads or iPods.
You can also watch on your Mac through iTunes or, if you want the experience to be bigger and better, on your TV via an Apple TV – just click the iTunes Festival icon in the main menu.
The app lets you view the Artists performing at the festival, read their Artist Profiles, listen to their tracks, and click directly to iTunes to purchase a song from that artist.
Two acts are on every night of the iTunes Festival at 7.45pm and 9pm, which is 4.45am and 6am AEST.
The next acts to catch are The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds tomorrow morning.
