The app lives in your menu bar, represented by a camera outline, though you can also just have it run in your Dock. Click it and choose whether to take a crosshair snapshot, window snapshot or use an image you’ve copied to your clipboard.
Once you’ve taken a screenshot, the Glui interface lets you modify your picture with arrows, boxes, freehand drawings, text and, my personal favourite, auto-pixelation.
After you’ve modified an image to your liking, you can choose to email, iMessage, tweet, post to Facebook, save it to your computer, or upload it to Dropbox. Upload to Dropbox, and the screenshot is saved both to your account and loaded on glui.me.
The app is incredibly simple, no bells or whistles to be found, and it excels as a result. It’s the screenshot app I never knew I needed.
