Getty Images has unveiled a new Boards feature that enables creatives to curate, share and discuss Getty Images’ imagery and video content. Boards are available now on gettyimages.com and via the freshly updated and redesigned Getty Images iOS app.
Developed with insight drawn from extensive customer research, Boards replace Getty Images’ Lightbox functionality and simplifies curation. Creative teams can collaborate directly through the tool to review images and video from Getty Images’ content library, store their projects, and share them with external clients using a shared link.
The key features of Boards include being able to view collections of images and videos according to specific projects or creative interests, without requiring users to sign in to gettyimages.com.
Images are presented in a large dynamic format, with multiple layout options, making visual evaluation easy and fast.
The iOS app allows you to curate on the go with Boards. Updates made in the app or on gettyimages.com are immediately available across all devices and platforms.
The new app is available on iPhone 4S, iPad 3 and higher devices, as well as iOS8 compatible devices. The Getty Images iOS app can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store today. The updated Getty Images iOS app follows the recent update to the iStock by Getty Images iOS apps and the launch of Stream, Getty Images’ free app for consumers to view and share the world’s best photography.
