Doing exactly what the name says, Get Plain Text is a utility that clears all the formatting from your clipboard. Say you’ve copied text from a website or PDF that includes hyperlinks, images and the like – clicking ‘Clear formatting from clipboard’ in the GPT menu strips it back to plain text. It can also be set to automatically clear formatting. Simple and very handy.
