Escape from Age of Monsters is what you get when you partner the amazing artwork of Jeff Matsuda with the rocking riffs from up-and- coming LA band The Binges in an endless runner platformer.
Stunning artwork underpins the simple action, where players tap either side of the screen to punch through red or blue walls as you fight to escape the monsters.
As power-ups flash across the screen, you swipe them to collect, which can give you power boosts or coins to spend on other bonuses between games. As you run, you’re followed by a pair of orphans, who act as your extra lives in the game, disappearing when you miss your punch.

It’s a bit repetitive – as are all games of this genre – but the art style and soundtrack are so good that you practically forget that you’re doing the same thing over and over.
