App Guide

This creative and quirky app says it all!

In Cut the Buttons the aim of the game is to manoeuvre the tips of your fingers to hold the scissors and snip the buttons from the falling materials, dropping as many as you can into the craft wooden bucket below. You can move the scissors around, as well as the button collection bucket to score top points.

There is a Classic and Arcade Game Mode for Cut the Buttons.

There is even a quirky zipper, move the zipper across to choose a game time from one minute, three minutes or five minutes.

Classic: In the classic game the idea is to make sure you cut all buttons from the fabric before it drops. If you miss any buttons before the fabric drops you lose a life, three lives lost and game over. Cut 100 buttons and you receive additional points.

Arcade: In the arcade game, cut as many buttons off as you can to collect in the bucket in the time you picked on the main screen. One snip can cut off multiple buttons to get bonus points.

It’s a lot harder than it seems, and after a while you get a sore wrist from all that scissor cutting! The scissors are also a little hard to get used to.

Good news is regardless if you are right- or left-handed, you can configure the direction of the scissors in the settings menu to suit you.

There has to be a secret to being able to hold and open the scissors though – this app has had over four million downloads, and was number one in 48 countries!

Have a play and let us know if you have any tips and tricks for getting top scores.
