App Guide

You can consider this app a taster for the pricier, fuller-featured ACDSee Pro. The basic ACDSee scans all your folders and connected drives to show the image files in them.

This is faster, initially, than cataloguing images, but has drawbacks in that once a drive is removed, so are the listings for it.

You can create albums in a catalogue style, but it has to be done manually. There’s some basic image editing, which covers rotating, renaming and copying. Images can also be tagged, rated and categorised. There’s a lack of metadata information and no geotagging either.

The good news is that there’s support for all the main file formats, including Raw, and the program can be used to manage other files. However, it may a little too basic for some.
